4 BEST VITAMIN C FACE SERUMS FOR BRIGHTER & CLEAR COMPLEXION

Nanoil, Vitamin C Face Serum

This serum turned out to work the best for me – now I’m inseparable with it. I find it to be a truly versatile product that offers nothing but benefits. Curious what they are?

First of all, the formula. Nanoil uses stabilized vitamin C (3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid) that is completely safe even for sensitive skin. The composition is short, based on water that’s why this serumfeels weightless and absorbs into skin fully in just a few seconds. My skin seems to like Punarnava root extract that the serum is also enriched with. This antioxidant defies ageing and boosts the effects delivered by vitamin C.

I didn’t have to use it long to feel my skin getting moisturized and nourished. Nanoil Vitamin C Face Serum also made my complexion glowing in a lovely way. The more I was using this brilliant serum, the less visible the blemishes and discolorations were getting. Now my skin is healthy-looking and clear every day. I’m also sure that I won’t notice fine lines any time soon.

Even though I’ve read that this serum has to be used once a day, I apply it morning and evening. I don’t know why I couldn’t do that, especially since the bottle holds 1.69 fl. oz / 50 ml of the product, which is a lot. Even its price is fine, which made me also buy Nanoil moisturizing serum with aloe and white tea.

Sesderma, C-VIT Liposomal Serum

Sesderma brightening serum is another product that helped me get rid of blemishes. They combined 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid with white mulberry and ginkgo biloba extracts. For an extra portion of hydration, Sesderma added hyaluronic acid.

A formula like this one seems to be destined to focus mainly on delivering moisture to dry skin. And I could feel this effect a long time after putting on C-VIT Liposomal Serum. I also need to add that this brightening serum forms a filter on the skin’s surface to shield it from the negative effects of UV. This means that this is another face serum that – apart from erasing pigmentation spots – is able to delay the appearance of wrinkles.

When it comes to application, I find it very convenient. The texture is smooth, somehow “milky” and thick, but it spreads easily. For that reason, I preferred to use it at bedtime. The bottle is standard 1 fl. oz. / 30 ml. The price isn’t very high.

Obagi, Professional C Serum

This is my next absolutely favorite brightening face serum. When it was a part of my daily skin regimen, I noticed that it used to give me a few things. First of all, it supplied my skin with moisture – that’s for sure. Secondly, it removed discoloration from my face – that’s also obvious. Thirdly, Obagi Professional C Serum also made my skin even-toned. At the end of my 3-month treatment I learned that this serum promotes collagen synthesis, which means that it delays ageing and fights off sagging.

The formula is lightweight which makes Obagi Professional C Serum easy to spread on the skin. I liked to use it in the morning because it allowed me to do makeup shortly after – the serum doesn’t leave any oily feel on the face. As for the key ingredient, which is vitamin C, then I have to tell you that its concentration is pretty impressive – there is 20% of pure vitamin C in Professional C Serum. I know that this may cause a reaction in the skin but, fortunately, it didn’t happen to me.

Unfortunately, I don’t buy Obagi Professional C Serum any more because it’s too costly for me. Luckily, I don’t have to because I’ve found a cheaper product that helps me keep my skin looking perfect. But if you aren’t tight on the budget, you should give this brightening serum a try. You won’t regret it.

La Roche Posay, Pure Vitamin C Serum

Lastly, a widely-known brand La Roche Posay and its brightening serum formulated with pure vitamin C, enriched with peptides to increase skin’s resistance to external aggressors. I like Pure Vitamin C Serum for this amazingly pleasant soothing effect. Other results, which I’d say were surprisingly long-lasting, are moisturizing and brightening. However, the effect that I counted on mostly, which was the removal of pigmentation spots, wasn’t as impressive as I wished it to be. Still, this serum does an honest job, if I can put it that way.

You will recognize this serum by its beautiful orange color. The texture of the serum is creamy but it absorbs into the skin super fast. I’d describe its size as regular – 1.69 fl.oz / 30 ml. The price is also regular.

Even though La Roche Posay Pure Vitamin C Serum delivers good results, I’d recommend it as a complementary product. I’m sure that if you introduce this serum to your regular beauty routine, you won’t be disappointed, provided that you also use some other, so-to-say, stronger skincare product.

Let me know in the comments if I managed to help you make up your mind when it comes to choosing your next (or first!) brightening face serum.

Take care!
