I want To Apply Lash Extensions at Home. I Created a Ranking of the Best Cluster Lash Kits
Perfectly-highlighted eyelashes are an absolute must-have for me, whether I’m going out for a night out or just want to look good every day. Unfortunately, my natural lashes are quite sparse, so I usually use cluster lashes. To make my daily makeup easier, I decided to try DIY lash extensions. It turned out that starter kits for at-home eyelash extensions vary significantly in quality, price, and durability. How to choose the best cluster lash kit? I have tested the top 5 products for you. While testing various professional lash extension kits, I noticed that the biggest problem was the difficulty of application. This made the styling process take too long, which was frustrating. So I decided to look for something that would allow me to reduce the application time. I finally came across DIY cluster lash kits, which turned out to be a great solution. Thanks to these products, it can take just 10 minutes to create beautiful makeup! This discovery changed my approach to daily makeup completely.
Every kit I tested came from a renowned brand. I had high expectations, as I studied the reviews of other users carefully before purchasing it. Most of the reviews were positive, but I wanted to see for myself how the products would perform.

1. Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit
Before I reached for the Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit, I already had the opportunity to test other products from the brand and was always very satisfied with them. That’s why I decided to reach for this kit first. The manufacturer promises that it takes just 10 minutes to apply cluster lashes and, to my surprise, I actually managed to complete it in such a short time – even the first time!
The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit contains:
- 36 cluster lashes in three lengths: 10, 12, and 14 mm.
- A bonder and a sealer, necessary for applying the cluster lashes.
- A special applicator that makes it easy to apply and fix the lash look.
- A remover that speeds up removing the fale lashes later.
The softness of these cluster lashes makes the application extremely easy. I didn’t have to reach for extra tweezers, as the included applicator worked perfectly. The kit from Nanolash provides cluster lashes in eight different styles, giving you a choice between a natural effect or a more dramatic look. After applying the cluster lashes, I immediately knew it was a hit. The lashes lasted a full week, and I’m convinced that with proper care, they could last even longer. Not only do the lash clusters add volume, but they also look very natural, which is extremely important to me.
What’s more, the cluster lashes are also available in brown, making them an ideal choice for those with light eyes or for redheads, on whom raven-black lashes can look unnatural.
In conclusion, the Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit is a product that lives up to my high expectations. It allows me to enjoy beautiful and natural-looking lashes for a long time without frequent touch-ups.
2. Tatti Lashes Invisi-Lash Kit
Enticed by the popularity of the Tatti Lashes brand, I decided to test their Invisi-Lash Kit for do-it-yourself lash extensions. Given the brand’s good reputation, I had really high expectations from this kit.
The Tatti Lashes Invisi-Lash Kit includes:
- Cluster lashes: available on a black or a transparent strip, there are 7 styles to choose from.
- Invisi-Lash Bond: a product for applying the cluster lashes.
- Seal Glue: an adhesive that fixes the lashes.
- Applicator: special tweezers for applying the lashes precisely.
- Brush: a small brush for styling the lashes.
The kit lasted for 7 applications, which is not a bad result, but I expected to enjoy them a little longer, nonetheless. I must admit that the lashes were easy to apply and looked natural, which is a big plus. However, the lack of remover and the vagueness about the durability of the lashes made me feel a bit dissatisfied in the end.
Applying the cluster lashes went fairly smoothly, although I have to admit that after testing two other kits I already had some proficiency, which certainly helped. Still, the lack of detailed information on the durability of the lashes left me with some dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, the lack of a remover in the kit forced me to treat these lashes as disposable, which was not ideal for me.
3. KISS Falscara Starter Kit
The third lash extension kit I decided to try out was the Falscara Starter Kit from the KISS brand. I decided on this kit because the manufacturer implied that the cluster lashes can be used repeatedly.
The Kiss Falscara Starter Kit contains:
- 10 cluster lashes
- BOND: a product applied to the lashes before applying the cluster lashes,
- SEAL: a product applied after applying the false lashes to keep them in place,
- an applicator: special tweezers that facilitate applying the clusters to the underside of the lashes with precision.
I must admit that the application went smoothly and quickly, and the final effect was subtle, which was perfectly in line with my expectations. However, that’s where the advantages of the Falscara Starter Kit end, unfortunately. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a remover and an overnight protectant in the kit. Without these essential products, I had to throw away my lashes after just one use, which was quite a disappointment. Although both of these products can be purchased separately, I figured I would look for a more cost-effective kit that includes all the essentials.
4. Lashify Starter Kit
I was curious to get my hands on the Lashify Starter Kit to see what made it different from the cheaper kits I had previously tested. I have to admit that the cluster lashes in this kit are extremely soft, which definitely made the application process easier. The application was a breeze, and the final result was really natural – the cluster lashes blended perfectly with my lashes, giving them a fuller look.
The contents of the Lashify Starter Kit include:
- 10 cluster lashes: the lashes are very soft and look natural.
- Bonder: a product applied before applying the cluster lashes.
- Sealer: a fixer applied after applying the cluster lashes.
- An applicator: specially designed tweezers for applying the lash clusters precisely.
- Remover: allows easy removal of the tufts after wearing.
However, the set contains only 10 cluster lashes, which may seem like a small amount, especially considering its high price. I used up all the cluster lashes during the very first application, which made it one of the most expensive makeup looks I’ve ever created.
Nevertheless, I have to admit that the quality and durability of the lash clusters are at a high level. With proper care, the lashes stayed on my eyes for 5 days, which is a definite plus.
5. Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit
The Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit was the fifth kit I had the opportunity to test. One of the perks of this kit is that you can choose different sizes and styles of cluster lashes, which in theory, should allow you to customize your lash looks. The manufacturer promises that the lashes should last up to 5 days, plus the kit includes a remover, just like the kit from Nanolash, which is a definite plus.
The contents of the Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit include:
- Cluster lashes: available in different sizes and styles,
- Remover: facilitates removing the cluster lashes safely,
- Bonder: a product for applying the cluster lashes,
- Sealer: fixes the false lashes to the natural ones,
- An applicator: special tweezers for precise application.
It took me no more than a dozen minutes to apply the cluster lashes, which was as I expected. However, as soon as I opened the box, I noticed that the cluster lashes did not look as natural as those in other kits, which raised my first concerns.
After the application, my concerns were unfortunately confirmed. The lashes looked unnatural, and the final effect was far from what I expected. I felt uncomfortable wearing them, which was additionally irritating.
I’ve been testing lash kits for home use. Which one is the best?
After testing all the kits I had my eye on, I had no doubt which product deserved to be bought again. The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit totally wowed me and I would not hesitate to purchase it again. I have two weddings coming up soon, so I plan to order a kit with slightly thicker cluster lashes for an even more glamorous look. Nanolash has met my expectations in every way, so I can recommend it to all of you with a clear conscience.
Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit is really worth having in your makeup bag. If you have any questions or concerns about this kit, I will be happy to help and advise you. I’m sure you will be as thrilled with it as I am!
