How many of you take a shower in the morning? I bet very few. Too bad because a morning shower adds a lot of energy, refreshes the body and helps survive a hard school or work day. It’s my antidote for a good start of the day and sometimes replaces a strong coffee.
It’s never too much of hygiene
Is it impossible to get dirty at night? Yes and no. Dust and impurities – living in your bed sheets and pajamas – settle on your skin while you’re asleep. While sleeping, your body works yet less intensively. Conclusion? You sweat at night almost as much as you do during the day. That’s why a morning shower is essential.
Wipe your face with a toner (preferably, fruit one that stimulates and adds energy). Next, take a quick shower, using tepid – not hot! – water. During the morning beauty routine, you will increase blood flow and give you the energy boost for the whole day. Right after the shower, apply a lightweight moisturising product. If your skin is dry and sensitive, use oils or gels and lotions (2-in-1) in the shower.
All girls who have oily skin should go for the morning shower to get rid of sebum excess and dry out the pimples. Remember to use products designed for this skin type. On the other hand, be careful not to damage the protective lipid barrier with too many showers. After the shower, apply a moisturising cream or balm for the right level of hydration.
The morning shower also comes in useful for girls who have thick and curly hair. Use products that make detangling and styling easier. They will let you style every hairdo. Remember you can’t sleep with wet hair as it could get weak, brittle and thinning.

Showering in the morning provides energy, refreshes and puts you in good mood for the rest of the day. If your shower products have intense citrus aromas, your body will immediately react and you will feel lots of positive energy. Flower-fragranced cosmetics work as aphrodisiacs; use them when you plan on spending the whole day with the beloved one. Vanilla, on the other hand, has a sensual scent that makes you feel good.
