No-brush and no-cosmetic make-up. Possible? Succulents!

Hi!

If you come along my entry then I’m sure you like looking for weird things on the Internet 😉 Subject of this post is more of a fun fact therefore, if you decide to toy with this idea at home, I can’t guarantee you the satisfactory outcomes.

No brush make-up? Certainly, it can be done just by using fingertips or a sponge like BeautyBlender, for example. However, let’s raise the bar even higher than that. Let’s do make-up using neither brushes nor cosmetics. Unreal? Not necessarily because if you don’t consider stickers as cosmetics then you can obtain the effect.

Today, I would like to show you a completely different approach to make-up, if this kind of masterwork can be even called make-up. I’m naturally talking about the works of an American make-up artist, Ryan Kelly, who decided to do make-up using succulents!

No, she didn’t use the plant to apply cosmetic with it, although it was the very first thought that came to my mind. Simply, she used succulents instead of regular make-up products and she done to them something that is even beyond my imagination. I’ve fallen in love with those lips! They look beautiful, but I’m aware that this artistic make-up isn’t suitable for daily wear.

In short, succulents are plants of an exceptional resistance to weather conditions, water shortage, etc. Frequently, they are used as a decoration which, unfortunately, requires special care. Owning to the fact that succulents preserve their look unchanged even when not in contact with water, such an astonish make-up stays true even for a few hours.

And what if we use succulents instead of a lipstick? These are beautiful and suit each beauty type. Therefore, when attached to lips (of course by using a safe adhesive), the plants can give you a marvellous effect. Magical like a forestall elf!

To make pictures of this kind of make-up even more outstanding, you can attach succulents to your nails as well. Setting these two elements together is really adorable. In this case, Ryan was inspired by nails created by an Australian botanists and artist.

Both ladies has exuded the energy on the Internet and started a new trend. Today, we can notice succulents in many make-up versions. We can observe more and more inspirations that are flooding the Internet. However, I call this trend in question. Is this kind of an artistic make-up vision practical and work in other fields except photoshoots?
